A big thank you to the staff of the now-closed HMP Glen Parva, who chose to raise funds for us at their recent reunion.
The colleagues held a raffle and gave people the option of choosing a charity to donate to. They selected LOROS and made their donation in memory of a friend, Mr R Rushton who was cared for at the Hospice a few years ago.
Their fundraising was very kindly matched by the Prison Service Charity Fund bringing their total up to an incredible £800.
This amount could pay for 32 aromatherapy, reflexology or massage sessions, helping to relieve a patient’s pain and sickness, or to reduce anxiety in patients and their family members - thank you again!
