On Saturday 2nd September, family and friends of Jim Stretton, James Stretton and John McCarthy held a fundraising Memorial Day in their honour.
Taking place at the Emerald Centre in Leicester, visitors were able to enjoy a tug of war competition, Gaelic football, open mic, children's entertainment and much more and was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
Spokesperson Jez Stretton said: "Saturday was absolutely brilliant. There was a fantastic turnout and we took around a £1000.00 on the day. Our grand total has now reached £2,500.00 and the family are delighted to be able to donate this to LOROS"
Debbie Dickman, Fundraising Coordinator at LOROS added: "We are thrilled that the event was so well attended - a very fitting memorial to Jim, James and John.
"We hope that you’re really proud of all that you’ve achieved; it is an incredible amount to raise and could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for almost four weeks - thank you all so much."
