The Leicestershire Filipino Society held a raffle at their annual Christmas party on Saturday 16th December 2017 and raised a fantastic £500 for LOROS!
The group decided to support a local charity and chose LOROS as many of their members had a link in some way to the Hospice.
The theme of the event was Super Heroes versus Super Villains and everyone who attended dressed up accordingly.
On Thursday 4th January the group were invited to the Hospice for a tour and to present their cheque.
Abi Jarrom, Community Fundraising Co-ordinator said: "It was so lovely to be able to welcome the group to LOROS and show them what their donation contributes towards.
"I look forward to working with the Leicestershire Filipino Society in the coming year, as they intend to continue supporting LOROS through events and volunteering.
"Thank you again to all those who worked so hard organising the event and all who attended - we are really grateful to you all."
