A great big thank you to Paul Shillcock who recently organised his sixth Fun day in memory of his wife, Kim.

The family-friendly day out at the Hermitage Recreational Ground in Whitwick, which included a miniature steam train, raised £510 for LOROS and takes Paul total to a staggering £3,245.84 for the Hospice.

LOROS Volunteers, Peter Kerrigan & Roger Wood attended the event and Peter was delighted to accept a cheque from Paul for this year's event.

Debbie Dickman, Fundraising Co-ordinator for LOROS said: "We are very grateful to Paul and his family and friends for their continued support to LOROS.

“Because of people like them, we are able to continue providing care and support to thousands of people every year.

“The funds raised from all these events could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for more than four weeks - thank you all again for everything you do."
