A few weeks ago seven-year-old Grace told her parents that she wanted to donate her money to LOROS for Christmas!
We welcomed Grace and her family to the hospice and showed them around so that they could see what and how her money might help.
Grace had saved over £100 in change from her money jars and tins and was delighted to know that this could buy a patients meal for a day, pay for some arts and crafts materials for creative therapy and also go towards the collection of a patient from home for day therapy.
LOROS Community Fundraiser, Emma said: "Grace is a great fundraiser and I’m sure she will be volunteering with us when she’s older!
"Donating her savings was such a kind gesture and she was very enthusiastic. It was a real pleasure to meet her and her family and to spend some time with them."
