Charlotte and Kerry raised an astonishing £12,459.50 for LOROS by running in this year's London Marathon.
They achieved this through sheer perseverance and determination to finish the race for their supporters, who encouraged them all the time they were training and gave so generously to their fundraising.
Kerry and Charlotte would like to say a massive thank you to Deb, the superstar landlady of the Star and Garter in Wigston, whose support was truly amazing, all the patrons of the pub, their families and their friends who were all so generous with their support and donations.
Tom Price, Challenge Events Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "What a wonderful effort from Kerry and Charlotte.
"Their resolve and sheer doggedness to complete the marathon and raise funds is quite inspiring; their donation could pay for the care of two inpatients for a 12-day stay at the Hospice and is greatly appreciated by everyone here at LOROS - thank you so much."
