Jessica Burdett tells us about her new hobby that's helped to raise funds for LOROS:
"I put on an event to give new friends that I have met through the social platform 'Meet Up' which is a network of social groups worldwide but that I joined following the loss of my partner, Stu at LOROS last year.
I have met so many new friends through the Leicester Social group and as a keen open water swimmer, I'm always up for spreading the word about swimming so I organised a taster event at Swim Sixhills , along with safety staffing at the lake, I also organised a coffee and cake event for those not keen on the water. "
