In 1984, the world lost Eric Morecambe, one of our best-loved comedians and one-half of the legendary comedy double act, Morecambe and Wise.

Now, almost forty years later, Paul Burton Productions are bringing Eric Morecambe: A Talk by Gail Morecambe to Leicester Guildhall (part of Leicester Museums & Galleries).

Eric's daughter, Gail, will give an entertaining talk about what it was like growing up with Eric as her father. At the same time, she will offer a unique insight into both the private and public lives of the comedian, who was not only liked by the British public – but loved.
