Colin Phillips joined LOROS in July 2024 as the Director of Finance & Resources. Colin qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) in 1985, is a Member of the Institute of Directors and was granted the Freedom of the City of London. With a career spanning over 40 years, Colin's experience includes senior leadership roles within both the Commercial and Not for Profit sectors. He has acted in a capacity as a Mentor and Coach for owner managed business from Start-Up to Exit, and has held diverse roles as an Executive / Non-Executive Director and as Chief Financial Officer of a listed PLC. His journey has included periods working in North America and Australia as well as throughout the UK.
As the Director of Finance & Resources, Colin is a pivotal member of the senior leadership team with responsibility for leading LOROS’s finance, IT, Data Governance, Facilities and Operations. This includes overseeing the management of the financial resources and working with trustees and senior colleagues to manage risk and deliver a financial strategy that realises the charity’s priorities and future plans.
Outside of work Colin enjoys spending time with family, sports and the arts.
