Conference updates
It’s been a busy time for the Research team!
Dr Becky Ogundele, Specialist Registrar in Palliative Medicine presented at the 2024 Palliative Care Congress, a virtual event hosted by ICC Belfast. We are delighted to share that she won a prize for her abstract in the Speciality Trainee category. All sessions can be viewed via the Palliative Care Congress website.
Tara Maitland, Research Manager at the Centre for Excellence, presented at the Clinical Research Network North Thames Conference on 6th March.
Dr Zoebia Islam was asked to present at the Clinical and HR Leaders Conference at the home of Championship winning side Leicester City, on 18th April
The conference was entitled Raising the Bar: Leading in Quality and Safety and looked at the hospice workforce, with a focus on delivering the best possible, high-quality care for patients and their families whilst recognising the wellbeing of all staff. Zoebia discussed promoting equity through research in palliative care.
