A big shoutout to Christine and Lauren who arranged for Community Wishes to visit LOROS and create a really special moment for one of our patients and their family. A huge thank you for arranging this, what a lovely gesture!
Community Wishes very kindly visited the Hospice with a very special character, Elsa from Frozen. Mehral, age 3, had been staying at the Hospice with her Mum, Syeda aged 34, as she was being cared for on our inpatient ward.
Mehral's face lit up as Elsa arrived at the Hospice, teaching her all of the Frozen tricks including how to freeze people with her super powers! Mehral was also delighted to have received some Frozen themed gifts, particularly loving the sparkly lip glosses!
It was a joyous afternoon as Mehral made precious memories with her Mum and Dad singing and dancing to her favourite Disney songs.
Ahsan, Mehral's Dad, said: "This will be really memorable, forever. Thank you so much for your time and for looking after our entire family. We are very appreciative of your efforts."
