Responsibilities and Requirements

In this newly created role, you’ll proactively partner managers within the Charity to influence and improve operational delivery while also owning and delivering projects which increase the value of people processes across the organisation.  

As the HR Advisor, Generalist and Projects, you’ll use your skills and experience to provide managers with high quality HR coaching and advice on the full range of employee relations matters. You’ll provide proactive and comprehensive support to a dedicated section of the Charity on people matters such as absence management, performance and capability, disciplinary and grievance processes and organisational design.

A further key part of the role is to design and execute projects to both strengthen HR practices and increase the capacity and impact of the function. You will be delivering HR projects across a variety of areas including reward and recognition, people infrastructure, talent management and performance. Example projects include implementing an online application portal, revising the appraisal process, designing employer branding activities, creating diverse recruitment strategies and implementing talent management processes.

This is a terrific opportunity to blend your generalist experience with the delivery of projects which drive significant change and improvement in people processes at our Charity.

Attributes aligned with success in this role include being CIPD qualified, demonstrating a good standard of knowledge related to employment law, case law and HR practices combined with commercial and pragmatic solutions, sound IT skills, project delivery experience and relationship building with managers and employees.
