Steve Davis is holding an exhibition at the Winchester Snooker Club, Central Avenue, with proceeds going towards LOROS.

Winchester owner Mukesh Parmar is delighted to have secured the services of Davis, who is now a popular snooker commentator and still ranked in the world's top 40 players.

"It's an absolute privilege to have the six-times world champion visiting Leicester and the Winchester," said Parmar.

"He's a true legend and a great ambassador of the game."

Davis will play frames against club members and give an entertaining display of trick shots, as well as being available for photographs and signatures.

Although tickets have already sold out, some fantastic items have been donated by local celebrities and Parmar has also invited bids via email.

Among the items up for grabs are a Mark Selby handmade limited-edition cue and case; a Steve Davis limited-edition signed print; a 'Velociraptor' T-shirt signed by the band Kasabian, and a signed Rendall Munroe boxing glove.

To make a bid via email, or for more information, contact Parmar at: muke147@gmail.com
