A record 1,500 people took part in the run, including American footballers from the Hinckley-based Leicester Falcons.
Participants were doused in different colours of paint powder as they raced around the circuit.
The route started and finished on the corner of Station Road and Market Place, with the multi-coloured runners each presented with a medal.
A percussion band provided entertainment and built up the atmosphere for the run.
As a grand finale, there was a ‘colour rave’ in the market square, with the brightly-attired joggers congregating around the stage to shower packets of paint over each other.
Ozzy O’Shea, the new mayor of Hinckley and Bosworth, handed out medals at the finish line, and gave a speech thanking those who took part.
LOROS Fundraising lead Laura Betts said: “Our Colourfun Mile is always such a huge hit with our supporters.”
All proceeds go to LOROS Hospice.
