On Tuesday 4th October, Highcross Leicester hosted their Annual Outstanding Service Awards evening at the Showcase Cinema de Lux in Leicester.

Congratulations to all the retailers who received their very deserved awards in different categories. The event celebrated their great achievements and ambitions.

LOROS was honoured with the Community Partnership Award which was a wonderful surprise to us. We have been associated with Highcross, Leicester for the last two years and our relationship is now in full swing with plenty of ongoing organised activities as well as hosting one of our donation stations and providing volunteers to help with various activities and events.

Alt textMagdalena Korytkowska, Partnership Development Lead at the Hospice said: “We are delighted to receive this award and we would like to thank Highcross Leicester for valuing our partnership so highly. It means the world to us and your continued support makes all the difference to the care we provide - it’s very much appreciated.

“We enjoy working with Tina who is their Community Manager and the rest of the team. The dedication and commitment shown at the different fundraising activities is very uplifting!

“We love the fact that the whole Highcross Team is involved. From their General Manager Jo Tallack, through to members of each team – all of them are finding their own very special way to make a difference to our patients and their family members - thank you so much for that!”

Matthew Brooks, VSG Contracts Manager at Highcross said: “Congratulations to LOROS Hospice on their award which was very much deserved!

“I know my team love getting involved with LOROS events and projects and will continue to do so in the future.”
