In late November, four additional beds were opened on LOROS Hospice’s inpatient ward thanks to short-term winter pressures funding. Due to end in March, this funding has already enabled 17 patients to receive the specialist palliative care they urgently needed.
Sarah Wheeler, from Market Harborough, shares the story of her husband Brian, 54, who was cared for on the LOROS inpatient ward.
Richard Holding came into LOROS in late November. Thankfully we’d just gained funding to temporarily open four beds on our Willow ward, so were able to welcome Richard and his wife Linda on to our inpatient ward.
