Jimi cycled more than 3,000 miles around the UK and Ireland in memory of his parents, raising thousands of pounds for LOROS along the way. His remarkable journey was a chance to remember Mum and Dad, give something back and raise awareness of why access to hospice care matters.
Jake Measures, aged 32 from Husbands Bosworth, experienced first-hand the impact of hospice care when his Dad, Dave, 67, was cared for at LOROS last year. As he prepares to take on the Run Leicester Festival for LOROS in October, he shares his story.
LOROS’ popular Spiral Scratch charity shop will reopen on Thursday 18th June following its move from 63 Queens Road to larger premises at 85 Queens Road.
