After experiencing the compassionate care of LOROS through the loss of both her dad and her sister-in-law, supporting the Hospice has become deeply personal for Zoe Graham, aged 42. Recently she took on the Snowdon at Night Trek alongside members of her family, walking in memory of her loved ones while raising vital funds to help ensure patients and families receive the same comfort, dignity and care.
“My Auntie Deb was just 55 when she sadly passed away from cancer. The care, compassion and support shown to Deb and our family at LOROS meant so much, and I wanted to give something back to the hospice and incredible nurses who cared for her."
The Run Leicester Festival, which took place on Sunday 11th October, celebrated its biggest ever event. With a record 5000 runners signed up for the sold out half marathon and 10K, the event has raised over £150,000 for LOROS Hospice, with the total set to grow as further donations come in.
