LOROS representatives were busy this week visiting the winners of the LOROS Accumulator Challenge 2014. Our first meeting was with The Plant Man who were the winners of the ‘Most Innovative Idea and today we visited the British Gas Business Complains Team who won the award for ‘Most Money Raised’.
As part of the PHSE and Citizenship Course Year 9 Pupils at Leysland High School in Countesthorpe chose LOROS as their chosen charity for their recent Charities Afternoon.
Sean Quinn recently cycled from Leicester to Skegness as part of the LOROS team.
About 250 guests attended the annual Colour of Ribbons event at LOROS.
Last week we were delighted to announce the winners of the LOROS Accumulator Challenge 2014. LOROS visited the winner of the “Most Innovative Idea” – The Plant Man – at their beautiful garden centre.
Over 250 guests attended the event and tied a coloured ribbon of their choice on to the red maple tree at the Hospice.
Sir David & Lady Samworth opened their gardens to LOROS, who held a charity luncheon garden party in a beautiful marquee in the wonderfully landscaped gardens of Markham House, Thorpe Satchville. The event was kindly sponsored by Mattioli Woods, one of the UK’s leading providers of wealth management and employee benefit services.
On Sunday 29th June Team Mojo took part in the first of their charity events for LOROS and are pleased to announce that despite a few falls, cuts, bruises and scratches, they have all survived.
