LOROS Hospice is launching its 30 For 30 campaign, which will take place throughout September, to mark three decades since the Groby Road charity opened its doors and welcomed its first ever patient.
"Not at any point was my husband left alone when he died; the nurse held his hand until I got there. That night he died peacefully in my arms. I could never turn my back on LOROS, not ever. I will never forget what they did."
The first ever HRG Family Fun Day was as a big hit with their visitors and raised £561 for the Hospice.
