The chance to say a final ‘goodbye’, before each Rocket is auctioned to raise funds for the Hospice, to enable us to continue to care for over 2,500 terminally ill local people every year.
Wave a final farewell to the amazing giant Rockets!
If you don't manage to find all 40 giant Rockets and Junior Jets in time, there will be one final chance to say goodbye to these spectacular Rocket sculptures that have weaved an unforgettable trail through the city this summer.
Across the weekend of 9th - 10th October, all of your favourite sculptures will come together for the final time at a special Farewell Weekend, sponsored by University of Leicester. The stellar fleet of spectacular Rockets will be on display in the grounds of the National Space Centre, before being auctioned off to raise money for LOROS Hospice.
Join LOROS Hospice for a family-friendly day as they send off the sculptures in style! Along with the opportunity to snap the perfect selfie and unlock any missed rewards, space-adventurers will be treated to:

- Space-tastic, live demonstrations organised by the Space Centre
- A Craft Tent where your little astronauts’ imaginations can run wild!
- A meet and greet with 3 Rocket artists and a chance to purchase their work

Taking place during national Hospice Care Week, all proceeds will go towards event organisers, LOROS Hospice to support them in caring for 2,500 terminally ill patients and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland each year.
Tickets cost just £5 each or £18 for a family ticket of four- under twos go free.
