ABOUT US
LOROS Hospice will be opening an innovative new large concept shop in the centre of Leicester in Autumn 2024 that seeks to take the idea of sustainable shopping to the next level. We are looking for a passionate Team Leader to support our Management Team in bringing this vision to life in a one-of-a-kind shop.
LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people at end of life across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our stores offer diverse stock, raising vital funds for our patients and families.

Social Worker

Salary £36,925 per annum FTE
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join LOROS Hospice. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on safeguarding. You will manage the Social Work Liaison Officer, act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, and deliver person-centred care to patients and their families. Responsibilities include conducting holistic assessments, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and providing welfare advice. This is an opportunity to make a real difference by promoting best practices in care and safeguarding within a compassionate hospice environment.
