Our shop in the central location of the Parade in Oadby stocks a fabulous range of clothing, bric-a-brac and new goods. By shopping with us you are helping to support our work, thank you.

Our shops are all run by Shop Managers but could not operate without our vast network of volunteers and by the generous support of the local community.

DONATING YOUR ITEMS

LOROS Donation Centres

We accept donations at our warehouses at Glenfield and Pullman Road, Wigston.

Glenfield warehouse accepts donations from Monday to Saturday between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
Pullman Road warehouse (Wigston superstore) accepts donations from Monday to Saturday between 9.30am and 2.30pm.

Please note: We are currently only available to accept two bags of clothing donations at a time and temporarily are not accepting picture frames.

Our Glenfield warehouse is currently only able to accept two bags of clothing donations at a time.

You can find us at: 56 Pullman Road, Wigston, LE18 2DB and Enterprise House, 1 Station Road, Glenfield, LE3 8BT.

Please note- either warehouse may close early if they become full. Restrictions may apply with regards amounts we are currently accepting. Please call in advance if you have more than 5 bags/boxes.

Books - limit of 5 boxes per donation. Please note Glenfield is currently limited to 2 boxes per visit

Furnishings need to comply with the 1988 fire regulations and items must have fire labels attached. Any items of furniture made from glass requires the British Standard kite mark.

We’re on the lookout for some fantastic volunteers to join us in our shops. If you or somebody you know are a sustainability superstar or are looking for retail/work experience, please consider joining Team LOROS!

From volunteering at LOROS, you'll meet lots of amazing people who will become friends for life, learn more about charity shop retail which is both exciting and rewarding, and you might even pick up a treasured pre-loved item along the way.

We can't do what we do at the Hospice without our incredible network of volunteers and the generous support of the local community. Every donation sorted and tested, every shirt steamed, and every item priced and sold each make a world of difference to our patients and their families.

Following the success of our 'everything £1' clothes sale in February, we're delighted to share that we'll be hosting another!

On Saturday 5th April, 10am-3pm, we will be here at the Hospice again with a huge amount of different clothing items to get your hands on. There's something for everyone!

Alongside this, we will be holding a sale at our Uppingham shop on Wednesday 16th April, 9.30am-4.30pm.

This is an opportunity to find some stylish bargains and refresh your wardrobe for 2025 for an absolute cheaper-than-chips price. Bring your friends and family and join us to shop sustainably!

Volunteering in a LOROS shop

Faizal's story

"When I first started volunteering, I lacked confidence and was very shy. Through volunteering, I have grown personally with my social skills. I can't thank LOROS enough for helping me to become who I am today. I’ve learnt so much and really feel as if I’ve found my place to be.”

Faizal Butt first started volunteering with LOROS at our Humberstone children’s shop in 2016 when he was 17 years old. Since then, Faizal has grown with LOROS.
