LOROS holds first ever Consultant Clinic at Uppingham Surgery as part of expansion into Rutland area

The first Consultant Clinic has been held at Uppingham Surgery by LOROS following the announcement that the Hospice would be expanding their services into the Rutland area.

Good news, our Christmas ‘Treecycling’ campaign is returning for another year!

For the second year in a row, LOROS is making it easier than ever for people in the Market Harborough area to recycle their Christmas trees thanks to the Hospice’s annual collection.


22nd November

Eighth Ladies Night pushes their fundraising total through the £26,000 barrier

A recent Ladies Night, organised in memory of sisters Roseanne Higgins, Mary Sweeney and Lily Cusack, raised £2,373.60 and pushed their running total to a massive £26,873.60.


9th November

A lady who was cared for by LOROS Hospice has had her name printed on an Eddie Stobart lorry in her memory

John Cooledge, of Swithland, arranged for his wife, Susan’s name to be printed on the front of the lorry because she had a desire to drive different vehicles, whether it was lorries, farmyard tractors, helicopters or planes

Bags of fun at LOROS fashion event raises more than £1,000 for Hospice

A shopping experience day at LOROS has led to an influx of clothing donations to the Hospice, as well as raising vital funds

LOROS Twilight Walk, early bird offer now on!

It’s Halloween and things are spooking up at LOROS as tickets have now been released for the Hospice’s most enchanted Twilight Walk to date. With a theme of myths and magic, this is the perfect chance for women to dust off their wands, dig out their capes and sign up for the biggest girls’ night out in Leicester.

Man raises more than £45,000 for LOROS after Hospice supports both terminally ill mother and father

Mark Padgett and his wife, Sallyann, of Coalville, have been raising money for LOROS since 2004, when his mum died.

Get a head-start on your Christmas shopping thanks to retail and pampering event at LOROS Hospice

On Saturday 29th October, LOROS will be hosting Frock, Swap and Shop, which will feature a variety of independent stalls, selling anything from vintage clothing to jewellery, handbags, cosmetics and gifts
