LOROS Hospice is giving their supporters the chance to win £10,000 or a brand new car thanks to this year’s Christmas Raffle.
Councillor David Snartt, the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, presented a cheque to LOROS during a ceremony at County Hall on Thursday 19th November.
As part of their Diwali celebrations the team from Barclays branch at Belgrave Road, Leicester, held a raffle in aid of LOROS which raised a fantastic £1,122.18. Barclays are donating a further £1,000, making a grand total of £2,122.18.
Children and staff at the school supported the annual LOROS Yellow Day campaign by taking part in a non-uniform day.
The Big Difference Company recently partnered with LOROS, the Leicester hospice charity, to help it plan a comedy show. The Laughter with LOROS event will take place as part of next year's Leicester Comedy Festival.
The 24-year-old actor held a piercing day on Sunday (NOV 15th), at the piercing studio his family own, Kazbah, in Leicester and raised nearly £1000 for the Hospice.
15 Employees from Alcoa Fastening Systems & Rings, Leicester recently took part in 10k off-road, Wolf Run, to raise money for the Hospice.
LOROS Hospice received an extra special visit from Hollyoaks star Charlie Clapham who spent the whole day meeting patients, families and members of staff .
