Cancer fighter celebrates 80th birthday with cast from touring production.
The Education Department at LOROS have been presented with a ‘Special Recognition Award’ by Health Education England, the third award the Hospice has scooped up in just a year.
A wedding blessing was held at the chapel of the Hospice last week, for Katie Checketts and her fiancé Edward Rowsell, an occasion brought forward especially for Katie’s mother, Ann.
LOROS, along with two other hospices, are sharing a boost of almost £25,000 thanks to savers at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society who chose to put their money into its Hospice Affinity Account.
LOROS are giving Colourfun Mile participants the opportunity to really stand out from the crowd this June by inviting them to become part of their ‘The Hundred Heroes’ club.
LOROS day therapy patient Isabel Robinson, who is battling cancer, was lucky enough to meet soap star’s Chris Fountain and Anthony Lewis, who visited the Hospice, when they were in Leicester as part of their nationwide tour.
